04/18/04 - Bridal Registry:  We are now registered at Marshall Field's and Bed, Bath and Beyond!

04/11/04 - Bridal Showers. There will be two bridal showers.  The first one will be on June 12th for Matt's family and friends, and the second one will be on July 24th for Pam's family and friends. We will be registered at Marshall Field's and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Planning Session: We are going to meet with our Event Manager (wedding planner), Karen Heyn on May 5th to finish the planning of our wedding.

03/21/04 - Disney Property Map - Click here for a map of Disney World property. (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open it) This will give you an idea of where the resorts are in relation to the four Disney World theme parks.  You will also be able to see where the Wedding Pavilion is located, which is where our ceremony will be taking place on Sunday, September 5th. 

01/17/04 - Our Save the Dates were mailed out by Disney! 11/17/03 - Newsletters have been sent out! 09/20/03 - We just got back from our Disney Wedding Planning Trip!  We met with Disney photography, our Disney Fairytale Weddings Sales Manager, Reverend Jack Day, and Karla Fountain (a wedding photographer/photojournalist)

We have chosen Disney Photographic Services for our Ceremony Video.

Karla Fountain has been performing weddings for over 10 years.   Having graduated from a top art school with a BFA in Photography, she truly aspires to create exciting, memorable images of weddings.  Karla loves working with people and has a passion for wedding photography.  She works in an unobtrusive manner so that the day is enjoyable and all the special moments are captured by her camera.   Karla is a multi-talented photographer that specializes in digital photo illustrations, travel photography, portraits, wedding and editorial photography. She has traveled extensively throughout the US, Paris and Africa.

09/06/03 - We finally got our wedding date, time and place confirmed by Disney!!! Our wedding ceremony will take place at 2:30 pm at Disney's Wedding Pavilion on Sunday, September 5, 2004.

08/10/03 - We are going to Florida September 13th -20th. 
We will be meeting with our Disney Sales Manager and going to see some reception rooms at the Disney Resorts, so that we can choose where we want to have the reception.  We will also being meeting with a few photographers while we are there. 

07/29/03-The surveys have come in!  As of today, 50% of the surveys mailed out have been returned.  We will update the results if we receive any more surveys. Here are the results:

07/12/03 - Pictures of Disney's Wedding Pavilion have been posted.  This is the non-denominational chapel where we would like to have our ceremony.  Click here to see the pictures.

07/02/03 - Wedding Surveys have been sent - We took a cross-section of our prospective wedding guest list and mailed wedding surveys in order to get an idea of how many people would be interested in attending a destination wedding.  These surveys were not designed to be an RSVP.   The destination wedding location that we are considering is the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.  If we have it there, we will be blocking off rooms at Disney Resorts at a discounted rate for everyone that wants to attend.  We are looking forward to receiving responses from those surveyed, and will be posting the results here when they have been tallied.
